Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you.
My name is Rachael Baxter and I believe in the transformative power of storytelling, design, and connection to drive meaningful change. I am a marketing strategist, editorial leader, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience crafting growth strategies, building brand narratives, and guiding customer journeys, and now, host of The Daily Champ podcast on YouTube. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across industries like finance, healthcare, entertainment, technology, and media, helping companies translate innovation into impactful campaigns. My experience includes brand activation, creative direction, rebranding, and podcast production, with a strong track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.
Through my company, Champ/Cast, I continue to empower brands with strategic storytelling and marketing expertise.
Throughout my journey, one of my proudest accomplishments has been serving as Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Conscious Magazine. I had the privilege of shaping it into a trusted platform for cultural dialogue, launching multiple print editions sold in 350 Barnes & Noble stores nationwide, with subscribers in over 25 countries, and building a strong digital presence. My editorial leadership helped establish Conscious Magazine as an international resource for thought leaders and creatives. I also had the honor of joining an expert panel at the International Young Leaders Assembly (IYLA) alongside global nonprofits at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, among many other speaking opportunities.
Now based in both the Lowcountry and the Upstate, I helped launch a high-end boxing studio in Charleston, SC, creating an inspiring space for people to grow stronger both physically and mentally. I’m also pursuing my passion for wellness advocacy through my blog, Sunset Hour, where I share insights on mindful living.
In addition to my work in media, marketing, and wellness, I’ve stepped into a new leadership role as President of the SHE Leads Group Lowcountry Virtual Chapter. Our goal in the Lowcountry Chapter is to create a space where women in business development roles can connect, mentor one another, and serve as true referral and connection partners.
